Does anyone know what this film is?
Its a film maybe made in the 70's or 80's with William Shatner in, about people in a plane / possibly in a plane crash but there was a girl on the plane who was being transported to a hospital as she needed some kind of organ transplant and i think there were some strange nuns on the plane! Phew - sorry if this sounds a bit strange, but its really bugging me - its a late night TV kind of film!!!

I think you might be getting a couple things mixed up. What you're describing is definitely from Airplane which stars Robert Hays, but William Shatner wasn't in that one. He was in Airplane 2 though. maybe you're thinking of Nightmare at 20,000 feet (an episode of Twilight Zone w/ william shatner) And Airplane.

sounds like the 'Airplane' movie. spoof film about air disaster, nuns start to sing and swing guitar around pulling out tube from girls arm. not sure about William Shatner though.
Try search for William Shatner biography/filmography on search engine and see if any names pop up that you recognise.

I think it was the squeal to Airplane! Airplane 2. See the Wikipedia link below. He was definatly in the second one, not sure about the first one. There are clips on youtube you could look up to confirm it.

>>Actually everyone else is probably right saying 'Airplane' especially since the weird nuns fit a comedy better than the film I thought it might be..

Sounds like one of the "Airport" movies if it was a serious one, or "Airplane" if it was a comedy.
