I have a job interview for a security guard position at a local school...?
My problem is I want to convince them I can handle 2 full time jobs. I am only 19, but I have been working full time since I was 16. I believe I can handle 2 jobs. I was in school at 16 I would wake up at 5:30 to get to school on time after school I went straight to work and I would get off anywhere around 11-12 at night. I believe I did it then I can do it now. I want to jobs for the money of course. I am very independent...everything I have I have got for myself. I pay my bills. How can I convince someone that I can handle 2 jobs? I have already been turned down because the employer thought I could not handle it. Any suggestions?

Try to get another job somewhere else that fits with your other jobs hours. I guess they are concerned you won't get enough sleep and at your age sleep is very important to you overall health as you are still growing.

I think it would be a bad idea working 2 full time jobs. You'll wear yourself out. You won't have enough to rest or sleep. You could mess up your immune system and as a result, possibly increase your chances of getting sick. Plus, you're 19! You should be making time to chill with friends. You may not be able to convince someone that you can pull off 2 full time jobs. After a while, I would think people would become exhausted and as a result they wind up quitting one of their jobs. The employer may think of that and not want to take their chances.
