is it legal to sell dell computer components?

I have a broken Dell computer (processor fried), and have now upgraded to a new computer. Is it legal for me to sell the component parts (Power supply, motherboard, case etc.)?

E.g. on ebay?

I would be selling in the UK, but I assume the rules would be pretty similar world-wide.

thanks very much in advance

Update:

excellent, thanks very much...

Why should you think it's illegal - where do you think eBay parts come from? Anything but Dell? (Sure some people would fine w/that.)

The problem might arise if you claim that you are some Dell re-seller or can have Dell guarantee them (though that doesn't sound like what you're doing) or that they are new or in better condition than they are - in which case, it wouldn't matter who made them.

While they dont make all their components, they do have "prpriotory" or non-standard size parts or even different pinouts which forces the DIY to buy replacment parts from them.

Absolutely legal. You won the pc and it's parts. There are no laws to stop you.
