Can Lieberman say anything good?

Why does McCain have this failed Democrat running his campaign? At least the smear campaign?

    Senator Lieberman said many good things last night. They just weren't what you wanted to hear.

    Lieberman is a "failed" Democrat, because he didn't toe the party line against the war on terror?

    I guess since he's still in the Senate, that he won the election against the Democrat candidate the party nominated. That's not "failed", it's the Democrat Party that failed.
