Will the Colorado Rockies shock the world again and win the NL West?
With the NL west being so poor, and the Dodgers and D-Backs continuing to lose alot, the Rockies are already sneaking up.

First they need to win all their games, if and when they do that, then you can talk winning the division.

No, they are currently 5 games out of first and have no shot at the NL Wild Card thanks to the Brewers.
Arizona's acquisition of Adam Dunn from Cincy and Dunn's subsequent improved play has given them the edge in the NL West. The Rockies may pass the Dodgers but will not take the division.
You can thank injuries for robbing the Rockies of a chance to get another crack at the World Series.

Rockies have a chance sure. The way by D'Backs are playing anything is possible. They have Houston, Braves, and Dodgers coming up so after those games, I think the rockies will be at least ten back. The way it's going, if my dbacks dont get their heads out of their butts, the Dodgers (I cant believe I am saying this) will win the division.

The Arizona Diamondbacks and the San Diego Padres are the two very sturdy communities and could have placed up a greater effective combat than the Angels did against the purple Sox. The Rockies particularly particularly have faith in themselves and that i'm exceptionally particular they'll ensure a thank you to get the hits necessary to win. i do no longer anticipate a "rusty" team to take place in the AL park next week - i think of they might-do-it and win the international series - possibly even bypass 4-0

Their remaining schedules (AR - SD - LA) seem to favor the Dodgers a little. If the Dodgers can maintain their intensity that I witnessed in their last 4 games, I'd like to think they have a good chance at the number 1 position by mid-September.

Let's hope! It looks like they are losing today's game, though.....maybe when Ubaldo Jimenez steps up to the plate on Friday their fortunes will change.
