No, it's not wonderful and I realize you're using sarcasm. But for people who generally don't even keep themselves that informed, having this very, very serious situation with Russia downplayed by our election is not good. People need to know WHY Leiberman said what he said about this not being your ordinary election. We're playing for keeps.

Rising GDP? Come now...it's a pretty well known fact that the GDP does NOT any longer represent the economy ...it works great with manufactured goods...other things not so much. In fact, the 'liberal' NY Times had many articles on the rising GDP...it also had some great editorials regarding how it needs to be retooled and is no longer accurate. I mean...seriously...foreclosures at an all time high, but the GDP says were doing great...come now! The GDP is NOT a measurement that is any good in reality anymore. It gives some information, but not about the economy as a whole. If it's so great...why foreclosures so high? Why banks collapsing around us? But smile! The GDP raised last quarter...sigh...

  • Im just glad McCain picked such a right wing extremeist that shows his lack of judgement.

Her 80% approval rating in Alaska, with her earmarks, anti-choice stance, her desire for Alaska to seceed from the union and her being investigation for wrongfully firing a state employee speak volumes to out of touch she is in the real world.

Republicans have to go with her because they have nothing else. If she were a man, would she ever have been considered. I think not.

Regular honest guy Biden is the smart pick over such a rabbidly antii-choice fundamentalist like Palin, sweetheart.

    My thoughts exactly.

Heck no one has even mentioned Palin's record on things like the Polar Bears.

    Delphi...

let's be honest sweetheart...you liberal media doesn't focus how the GDP grew last month, doesn't focus on the success in Iraq...i.e. Anbar province...

c'mon Delphi...you are smarter than that...

the liberal media avoids successes to paint a gloomy picture.

She's a class act. And the American mainstream can and does relate to her well. It will be quite a moment when she becomes America's first female Vice President.

Source(s): She has a 80% approval rate in Alaska. Case closed.
