Hey SEC fans tell me what you think about this post.?

Its more Georgia fans talking all the smack.One good year and they have lost there minds!!

You can't judge a conference by it's top one or two teams. When judging conference you have to look at the top down. The SEC is by far the deepest conference. The pac 10 is USC and who? The SEC has 7 to 8 high quality teams every year. USC can skate through it's conference schedule and win without playing it's best. That doesn't happen in the SEC. That is why at the end of the year, come bowl time, the SEC teams are in the best position to win because they have been playing at a high level the whole season. I am in no way, shape or form an SEC fan, I am just man enough to admit that they are the best conferecne. There really is no contest.

We would really know something if USC had manned up and played Georgia last year. But alas we don't know much about who is better.

I would just like to see the PAC 10 and BIG 10 get out of the Rose bowl deal so we could get to a play off.

A playoff is the only way we know for sure.

But if you want some facts. PAC 10 has 9 football national championships since 1954. The SEC has 18 since 1951. Source, PAC 10 and SEC web sites respectively.

I think that the Pac-10 has an all time losing record against the SEC. In fact, I think they have won 41 games, lost 65 and tied 7. Therefore, all time, the SEC is clearly a better conference.

There you have it, folks. SEC dominates Pac-10.

Interestingly, here are some statistics for other Div - I conferences and the Pac - 10:

Pac-10 vs. ACC: Pac-10 won 44, lost 38 and tied 1 (not a dominating performance)

vs. Big 12: Pac-10 won 170, lost 213 and tied 13. (Pac-10 dominated by Big 12)

vs. Big East: won 48 lost 46 tied 0. (Evenly matched conference).

vs. Big 10: won 253 lost 268 tied 13. (Pretty evenly matched).

vs. Conf. USA: won 127, lost 57 and tied 7. (Pac finally dominating a conference)

Div I-A Independent: won 62, lost 95 and tied 11. (Dominated by independents).

thats pretty impressive , but they failed to mention the SEC teams that they beat was of course Tennessee which is a program that has been up and down , but the others were vanderbilt,arkansas,and mississippi state , id rather see a pac 10 team play the likes of florida ,LSU , Georgia or a team that is in the hunt in the SEC i give them Tennessee but the fact is they played bottom feeder teams other than the vols instead of the top tier teams, and until they play the big dawgs of the conference then im not impressed with the stats.

i would really like to see who played in all those games, i wouldn't doubt that atleast 10 of those games was USC vs ____. Now if you don't look at the records then the SEC is insanely more dominant, especially now more than ever.

Pac-10's top 4 teams: USC, Arizona St.,(then it kinda drops off after that) Oregon, then maybe UCLA if Craft really is good

SEC's top 4 teams: Georgia, Florida, LSU, Auburn(all teams that ppl could see going to a BSC bowl game)

Facts are Facts but if you take the Top 3 Teams and the Bottom 3 Teams from the SEC & Pac 10 who wins?

UGA vs USC

UF vs Arz St.

LSU vs Oregon

Ark vs Wash.

Miss.St vs Oregon St.

Tenn. vs Oregon St.

I think SEC wins 4 of the 6. But that's my Opinion.
