There are SO MANY things to do in London. Lots of museums and galleries, sights to see include Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Nelson's Column, The Tower of London, London Bridge. You could take a bus tour and see all sorts of sights. You could see a show in the West End, you could shop in wonderful shops, you could take a trip on the river. There are lots of different areas: Covent Garden, Soho, China Town etc.

It's all a matter of preference, but I would aside from the obvious landmarks, I would suggest the comedy clubs to get a taste of English humour and visit some 'trendy' hangouts at the same time.
For example, there's a comedy club which is run on a boat, moored on the Thames, which, after the show is quickly transformed into a club. Quite different.

The main sightseeing things are the London eye and possibly the crown jewels. Other things are the science museum and natural history museum if you're into that kind of thing, Madame Tussauds is quite fun especially if you have your photo taken with the wax model of a famous person your friends like and pretend you actually met them! It might also be worth seeing a show, there are loads of theatres in London, and also there are loads of really nice shops, so you can go shopping

Take a tour bus (1 1/2- 2 hours) and you'll see all of the major attractions. You can then decide which one you want to spend more time. You might also be interested in shopping. You'll find lots of great clothes, home furnishings in London.

As someone has already said there's the London Eye and lets not forget Buckingham Palace, the Tower Bridge or Westminster Abbey. Its quite expensive by the way though.

The best thing to get is a London Pass. It is a book filled with everything from tourist attractions to restaurants. It has free entry and discounts to loads of attractions and discounts on restaurants.

The ones I recommend are The Tower Of London (free with pass) and The London Aquarium (free with pass).
