Why do people question women taking the job of President or vice because they have children?

Even though things have changed tremendously and women are taking on more responsibility and leadership than ever before, people still cling to sexist beliefs.

We know that a lot of men want to keep their control and power over women. But I also notice that many women have a vested interest in maintaining the traditional role of women as non-working home makers. A lot of women seem to feel like they benefit from not working or taking on responsibility. They are just as responsible for maintaining these backwards attitudes as men.

The good news is that women like Hillary Clinton are breaking down these barriers and changing peoples attitudes and expectations. In another ten years maybe no one will question a woman with children taking on a position of power. Why can't the guy can be the one to take on the extra responsibility with the children? I think in the future they will. It will be considered normal.
