laptop doesn't have usb ports?
i have this old Compaq LTE ELITE 4/75CXL laptop that i wanna use just for minor purposes like surfing the net and stuff like that. the problem is that it doesn't have any usb ports or a cd-rom . it has a slot for pcmcia cards but i don't think they sell any for a laptop this old. it does have a PS/2 connection though. is there anyway i can get a PS/2 to USB converter and use that so i can connect a flash drive, or a external cd burner?

this computer has a windows 95 operating system and 95 does not support, usb, external hard drives, or pretty much anything else. I don't know of a way to convert it to any other os as even win 98 is goingto challenge the hardware on this system.

that old thing . The Motherbourd won't take it . Time to upgrade.
