i did a piece on The Crucible when i was studying that and basically the message to that was the past is repeating itself and all this stuff about un-American activities. i'm not sure it is relevant to this book but it would be worth looking into because around that time people were being arrested for un-american activites (such as doing something unpatriotic which was defined by society and was ridiculous). arthur miller also got arrested and decided to write a warning in the form the crucible to get his point across.

    hope i helped

He was an award winning playwright and author.

His best known and performed works are "Death of Salesman" and the "Crucible" But many of his other works endure.

He graduated from college in 1938. "The man who had all the luck" was his first Broadway Production. It flopped. He went on to be a major American Playwright. Often controversial, he fell afoul of the 'red hunt' led by McCarthy in the 1950's. He did indeed marry Marilyn Monroe in a short and passionate marriage. She adored him but felt alienated by the scope of his mind.

I also have a e book on that! the puritans have been freaking out because of the fact they concept all and sundry that did something suspicious or against theyre faith became a witch. they even hung human beings in the event that they have been purely informed that somebody became a witch. lots of the time, the victims have been thoroughly harmless. alot of husbands who have been ill of their different halves could turn them in and say they have been witches because of the fact they only needed a sparkling companion. there became a woman that recited the lord's prayer earlier she became beheaded and that they nonetheless did not permit her stay. they killed them off in some distinctly undesirable techniques too. heavily, google that sh*t it extremely is thrilling what human beings have been made to believe back then!
