Why can't people figure out how to change categories?

Perhaps the link should be made bigger? Perhaps Yahoo should not suggest a section at all? Despite promises to fix it at the next update, which has come and past, the hockey section is still getting dozens of completely non related questions every day.

I suggested this in the forum a few weeks ago and went unnoticed by yahoo employees. It would be so much better if it was like reporting- it gives you two options:

I think this question violates the community guidelines?

    -or-

I think this question is illegal

and you HAVE to check one of the boxes before you are allowed to continue. The same should be in place for selecting categories. Yahoo should give you a list of suggested categories, and you must manually select one before you can continue.

The hockey problem is a known one. Anything with an & in the question is automatically routed to Sports, for some odd reason. They are supposedly working on fixing that one.

In the meantime, yes, it would be nice to have a larger link. It would also be nice if folks actually learned to use the site before posting silly odd questions. But we can't control that. The best we can do is go to the Forum (see the link 3/4 down on left of page) and post as a BUG there -- or add our votes to the many bug reports already posted there about this issue, until it finally is cleared.

I also think there is a problem, I thought this had become a dumping ground for questions in the wrong category.

It seems every second or third one is a violation for that reason.

maybe they like the answers they get there better than any other category.
