Any good advice on setting up a home bindery?

I am looking into setting up a small (in-home) bindery. I need suggestions for equipment that is economical but durable. I don't plan on being a mass publisher so I'm not looking for a room sized saddle stitcher or any think like that. Any other advice or suggestions in connection with a bindery would be appreciated.

Update:

I guess I could be a bit more specific. I plan to (want to) do specialty journals, and maybe small printings of fund raiser things for local churches (small town), possibly cookbooks and things such as that. I have a 3:1 wire binder and some hand binding knowledge. I will probably be looking into a perfect binding system soon. What else should I look into?

I'm not looking to get rich. This is just something I enjoy doing and would like to be able to do it well and for a bit of a profit (or at least enough to continue doing it.)

There are so many operations that encompass "bindery", it would be tough to do out of your house.

But how about a table top folder, GBC puncher and binder, a "paddy wagon", small drill, table top numbering, tape binder.

The problem I see is that most print shops already have this equipment, so you might only get their overflow or hand work.
