How can I get my hands on some facial recognition or comparison technology?
Some time ago, I saw on CSI: Las Vegas some sort of computer program that was being used to compare a picture of someone to another picture that had been created from the first person's picture. They only knew this because they could measure the angles created from certain points on the face with this software.
I want to know, is there a way I could do this myself, either by measuring these angles on my own or by using a computer program? I think I look a little bit like someone I know and I want to compare our faces this way.

I am a Criminal Justice student and this issue was just discussed in class a few weeks ago. Programs like this are only available to the government and even then, there is a lot of controversy as to the use of them.
