  • Is there a risk of me transmitting an STD to my girlfriend while giving her oral sex?

She's said no either way, but I'm pretty sure she's wrong. I'm not 100% sure (it's something like 99.99999% though), so I wanted to ask.

We are both virgins, and neither of us have had sexual contact with anyone else, not even each other. Neither have we been tested for STDs, but while I'm certain that doesn't matter, she seems to think tests would still be in order "to be sure" I couldn't giver her something. (sigh)

I don't want to argue with her, so I left it at that, but it's still bugging me, so...

Fastest way to get the points is a well-thought out answer, properly spelled. With a reliable source, please, preferably online.

  • How to spice up ramen? (Eggs? Other ideas?)?

I was talking with some of my friends and one of them mentioned that he likes to crack an egg into ramen when he makes it - apparently while the noodles cook. Says it's like egg drop soup. Now, I love ramen myself - and it's cheap as dirt - so I want to try this to add some variety to it. But I don't remember all the details and I don't think I can get ahold of him in time to ask - I wanna try this TONIGHT. SO: If I crack an egg into boiling water, how long must I wait until it is safe to eat? Is there anything else I can try to vary the flavor?

  • How can I get my hands on some facial recognition or comparison technology?

Some time ago, I saw on CSI: Las Vegas some sort of computer program that was being used to compare a picture of someone to another picture that had been created from the first person's picture. They only knew this because they could measure the angles created from certain points on the face with this software.

I want to know, is there a way I could do this myself, either by measuring these angles on my own or by using a computer program? I think I look a little bit like someone I know and I want to compare our faces this way.

  • I need help with bacteria-related project! Also involves archaea!?

I'm doing a project in my high school biology class. We need to pick a species from each of the 6 kingdoms and describe how each performs circulation, respiration, digestion, excretion, and reproduction. This includes which organs/cell parts each organism uses for each process.

I chose, for Archaea, Sulfolobus solfataricus, because it's supposed to be a model organism and well-studied. I can't find any good information on it though, beyond that its genome is well-mapped. (I'm guessing that's how it became a model organism.) There isn't enough information on how it performs these tasks. If you have a better organism for my purposes, please let me know.

For Eubacteria, I chose E. coli. I can't really find _how_ it performs these tasks - especially the cell parts used.

Everything I've read has been either too difficult for me to understand or too generic or vauge for me to use! Please help, and although I don't need to provide sources, it may help me if you do.

  • Is it legal for others to use my picture online without my permission?

I think someone else at school has taken my picture with a camera phone and posted it on MySpace without my knowledge or consent. I'm not positive about it yet, but if he has done this-especially since I'm sure he's using it to make fun of me-what can I do? Can I do anything?

  • Problem with Call of Duty 3 on Wii?

Whenever I try to play Chapter 5 on Call or Duty 3 for the Wii, the game freezes-all audio stops, a low, constant buzzing sound comes from the speakers, the screen freezes, and if I'm shooting when it freezes and the Wii Remote is rumbling, it won't stop. I can't turn off the unit when this happens; I have to unplug it. Does anybody have any idea what I can do? My friend says the disk is fine and traded copies with me-his would not work either on my system, and he says I should try to contact Nintendo or something.
