No, but I wouldn't leave ANY dog alone with a child, even if I knew the dog very well. Kids and animals are both very unpredictable. One pull of the dog's tail or a poke in the eye and the dog could act out of instinct, snap and bite the child.
For the record, though, my pit bull is the sweetest girl in the world. I absolutely trust her around kids.

hi you should not have your child in this situation, there are many other breeds other than just pitbulls that have been known to attack children suddenly. I have a staffy x pitbull and she is great with my kids, there are times when she is left for a few minutes in the same area as my 3 yr old but usually the dog follows me around religiously. I always try to call the dog to come with me to avoid any situation even though I do trust that she would never harm our kids it is not a risk I am willing to take.

The pitbull is in the yard protecting the house from bad people. Kids are sleeping safe and sound in their beds.

Yea but my pitbulls are trained.. I wouldnt leave a conservative wacko eskimo with my kids though
