I do. But then again I used to spend a lot of time on Exit Mundi so maybe that poisoned my thinking. I believe that mass starvation or an intentionally released pandemic are the only things that can save us from run away global warming. In otherwords 95 percent of mankind must die so that at least 5 percent of mankind can live. Mass starvation? Peak oil. Pandemic? Preferable to global Islam.

What is there to fear, nothing. Al Gore and all his other "victims of the grip" have attempted to put the fear of tomorrow into everyone and they are succeeding if you think it's all gloom from here on. Islands that appear to be under threat of being covered by rising seas are in fact sinking due to the increase for more fresh water due to population increase. Wells are being sunk to find this water resulting in shrinkage of the top layers drying out. With all the ice that has melted in the Arctic has anyone noticed that their favourite beach with less beach than in the pass, don't think so.

We are heading into summer here and I for one can't wait. Hate the cold.

A rise in temperature suits me fine.

Almost everybody. The world is ending because of a few reasons. Humans. For the sake of money, we use too much resources. And there is so many other stuff.

Fear comes from not understanding, fear of spiders is not understanding that only a very few are bad and that you can detect which are bad.

Fear is a controlling tactic used to control people. SO, those that stand to make a huge monetary profit from global warming spread its fear.

Even the most liberal, Reverend, perfect, democrat said "The only thing to fear is fear its self" all democrats need to hed the advice of such a wise person and turn to the real scientist that say GW is a fear spread by people wanting to take thier money, possesions and freedom from them.

Your responses are as thoroughly biased as your complaints. all people continues to be denying worldwide warming and could proceed to achieve this until the Florida Keys are submerged. i'm no longer a scientist however the info that I save listening to are around the speeded up fee of glacier, polar cap and mountain summit snow melting. greater winds, drought, severe climatic circumstances are the norm. i think of, thinking inhabitants and progression, it rather could be incumbent on you to coach that it is not occurring.

its pretty hard to get excited about a temperature rise of 1 degree centigrade between the year 1900 & the year 2000(approx). especially since theres been a slight decline in temp since 2000.

but apparently quite a few people have managed to get themselves very worked up over it, some even seem to be bordering on panic.

I guess their just more energetic than I am, or maybe their just bored & panic relieves the boredom.

maybe they need something important to worry about, like how to pay the sky high electric bill when the exhaust from the power plant smoke stack has to be as pure as a baby's breath.

Source(s): the weather has never remained the same very long & never will.

i dont fear global warming, in fact i believe that the global mean temperature should be a bit higher than it is today. why you ask? because it opens up a lot of farm land, and it allows longer growing seasons. in fact some crops could end up being harvested as many as three times in one year. this would certainly go along way in solving hunger issues around the world.

To be honest, there are some things i fear about the whole concept and some i don't... like the temperatures and air quality and stuff... those sound legit, but like the rising sea level, cant we all just move inland? i know it sounds shallow... but like global warming sucks, but i don't fear it

I'm just going to put my head in the sand and buy Carbon off-sets from Al Gore.

People who feel that humans are an infection on the earth and people who believe that the most pristine best ecology is one people have not touches who feel the earth is fragile do.

People who feel that man is God's crown of creation and the creation is more robust do not. Man was given commission to rule over the earth and subdue it.
