Anyone know, if it mite be that I could possibly have a premature baby too?

There are a million reasons you could have been born premature. It may not have had anything to do with genetics, for example, there are some vaginal infections that can cause the woman to go into labor, so if it was something like that, your mom wouldn't have passed that on to you, it was just a fluke.
I know how pregnancy can make you freak out, believe me. I found that the things I worried about were the wrong things. With my first, I was paranoid about giving birth and all the pain, but as it turned out my baby was born early had some health problems. With my second, I was paranoid she would have similar health problems and be born early, but I went past my due date, she was perfectly healthy, but I was the one who was very sick with toxemia.
What I'm saying here is, try to relax. Just keep going to your doctor appointments and get a baby name book. Decorate the nursery. Everything is going to be ok. And if it's not, you'll deal with that, too. You can handle it.
Woa, I just read, your mom's longest labor was 25 minutes?! I guess the others just dropped out? Now THAT'S something to worry about! Holy cow, that's crazy, unless you meant "hours."

every pregnancy is different and I don't think you would have a premature baby because you were one. I think the risk goes up a little but not much. Just relax and take it easy. Don't worry too much.
Oh wow I just looked that over and 25 minutes of Labor? That isn't long at all!!! That is probably the shortest labor I have ever heard of.

i don't think prematurity is genetic. just because you were born premature doesn't mean you child will automatically be born premature. it is still a possibility because every case is different. but it is also very possible that you will make it full term. and also it's hard to say how you labor will go based on your mother's because again every pregnancy is different. so if you end up having a premature baby or delivery it's not because of your mom.

Nope, every pregnancy is different. Most first time pregnancies go to around 41 weeks.
Don't count on a 25 minute labor either. It's very possible that you may have a longer labor. There's no guarantee that you'll have labors like your mom.
I thought I would have long labors like my mom and go to 41 weeks. I was wrong on both counts. My mom had both myself and my brother over 41 weeks. Our labors were 36 and 18 hours, respectively.
My daughters were born at 38w+4 after 11 hours of labor and at 38w+3 after 4 hours of labor.

Congrats on your pregnancy!! Both me & my brother where premature and have a long history of it in our family... when i was pregnant i was certain i would have my baby early.. after i finally made 37 weeks i was still pregnant, out went 38 weeks then 39 weeks and then 40 weeks... finally at 40 weeks and 6 days i was induced!! So it doesn't always run in the family and remember every single pregnancy is different!

No. The adoption route is the reasonable way to go. The biological father can step up and demand his rights. I imagine that the biological dad would gladly surrender his rights in exchange to avoid paying any child support. The marriage is not a material fact. You should be clear with the guy you now feel that you are going to marry is totally on board with the child of the other guy. If all of the people are young, the whole issue of money will be more important than luv.

25 min labour??!!! I was 25 hours! And 6 weeks premature!

It just depends on so many different variables. I was about 4.5 weeks early and my son was due June 30 '08 and was born June 1 '08. My husband was 6 days late. It just depends. My mom's water broke with me and mine broke with my son. If you have concerns I would talk to your OB.

Possible but not probable, premature labors are not hereditary its just something that happens
