What is up with him, does he want me or not?

Okay so i went out with this guy, back in january and february of this year, and well we have been keeping in touch and just this last Friday he came over to my house saying he came over to say hi an would stay only like 5 min. He ended up staying an hour n a half. Well during that time he hugged me like 5-7 times unexpectedly, and then at the end, i was walking him a little bit of the way home, he told me close my eyes n kissed me on the cheek. So of course i kissed him back, but on the cheek. Then he offered me a kiss on the lips, i was like "Sure!". But the first one sucked so i got another one. later we were texting back and forth about how he wanted me back, and then the next morning he said he changed his mind and likes someone else, and to wait until next semester of school.

Im so confused, does he want me or not?
