I like Windows XP. It doesn't use up as many resources as Vista and so is much faster. With Vista, you need a really fast PC just so it doesn't drive you insane (or send you to sleep). I think OS X looks good but the limited range of software available keeps me from buying it.

I had a great time once I had an account 5 years in the past on a server working solar Solaris. It basically labored. i've got considering the fact that got here across that OpenSolaris is extra of a discomfort than its somewhat worth. i've got been twiddling with Gentoo considering the fact that my Niece's husband gave me an old laptop with it loaded on. it is so old i've got extra or much less retired it, I put in it final summer time right into a sparkling laptop, then it broke, (happens) and that i eventually reinstalled it as a twin boot with Slackware (my first actual Linux, it happens) and that i'm falling in love with Slackware back (however i in my opinion somewhat like Gentoo plenty. i'm going to boot on the two the two). i've got basically reinstalled Synfig (which I hate) and that i'm installation Blender in particular so i can play with the slackbuild information and watch the classes being equipped from scratch. Least popular? Any homestead windows earlier XP, because of the fact they crashed plenty, or Vista, which i won't be in a position to even tell while it crashes because of the fact it is so slo-ow.
