Is this a good investment? '74 T-bird, 41k orig. mi., for $2k? see details....?
has 460 engine, stored 14 yrs by this guy's grandfather. All systems including a/c and radio work great, all fluids changed and a new muffler.
Tires are very good. Landau roof has a couple cracks in it. Chrome is near perfect. Has a bit of rust just starting near 2 wheel wells. Was undercoated when purchased in Ohio by grandpa. Leather seats are near mint, one side armrest shows wear. Brakes excellent. I'm not mechanically inclined, but have a hunch this big ol' car can only appreciate in value? Please talk me into it, or out of it, please? I checked ebay, and this car seems to be about $300 less than others there? Any other sites I might go to compare/find guidance? Thanks!

that is a good deal on that car especially it being what it is,my dad had one when he passed on a few years ago and when his brother sold it they got big bucks for it,the gas mileage wasn't all that bad on it considering what it was, they was big cars but with very little room in the back seat, but the run and drive really good, they got that one priced real good for what it is,it will go up a little in value ,at 60 miles per hour cruising on the freeway with his we got around 16 miles to the gallon maybe more, but he enjoyed the ride part of it a lot, good luck on it,those engines are almost bullet proof,my dad wouldn't drive nothing but a ford all of his life,a very good engine.
