attention sheltie breeders please?

i purchased 2 sheltie pups over memorial day weekend. i got them with the intention to show them. when i brought them home, they had perfect scissors bites they are now 24 weeks old and are both undershot

they have their adult incisors but have yet to get their canines in

what i am asking is if anyone has had a shelties bite "go off" and then go back to where it is supposed to be

or is this how they will most likely stay

oh and i dont know if it matters but one is a female one a male they are littermates and are from heavy Banchory lines

thanks

Update:

i did purchase these two from a reputable breeder, one is co-owned and both have show contracts

Banchory pups have a few "ugly" stages, but shouldn't go off quality that badly. How bad is the underbite? How long has it been that way? Why is the breeder not mentoring you? I've never seen the bite truly go under and return to scissors. I have seen it go level during teething, them return to scissors. I'd be a lot more capable of helping if I had pics and pedigrees. If they are on a show contract, then surely there is a clause guaranteeing no disqualifying faults, right?

Any breeder who gave you two puppies is no good. A breeder would never advise raising two at once, much less littermates! I hope you can keep them from mating. As for the show deal, who knows it sounds like your breeder isn't a reputable one. I can only guess their conformation. And most sell them as show prospects and on a co ownership. You have a whole bunch of red flags there. Your breeder sounds pretty low, I know I wouldn't buy a dog from someone like that!

Their bites could improve but its not very likely. Sorry but good luck with their conformation.

Show contracts, thats good. Who was the breeder, do they have a website? What health testing has been done?

I can't help you with your question other than to say you might join sheltie-list.com, sheltie-world.com, and sheltiegenes.com. The people on those sites can answer questions there, like they do here, and you get great help and support. They can help you with show and breed and help questions, and just plain old support.
