Why do many libs say they are against the war to end the loss of innocent life in Iraq, but support abortion?

I honestly don't know anyone who supports abortion. I know many who support choice. Even among those who support choice, there is argument over when that choice should expire because the pregnancy is too far along for it to be aborted.

I have heard people argue that when sperm meets egg then it is a baby and should not be aborted. But not every fertilized egg makes it to implantation on the uterine wall. Nature aborts more children then liberals if a zygote is a child but nothing is being done to save every fertilized egg nor is anyone losing sleep over it. I will agree that sometime before birth there is a child to be considered. I won't agree that 15 minutes after sex (approximate time for the sperm to swim to the egg) there is a baby.

There seems to be 2 groups. One argues that any form of abortion and possibly most forms of birth control are wrong. The other argues at what point in the process we should consider it a child. No one argues that abortion is great and should be encouraged. Or at least no one who should be taken seriously.

If you are a healthy woman who is sexually active then you have almost certainly lost fertilized eggs in your life. You have un-intentionally aborted. Should you be condemned for this?

Do you mourn the lost children you have conceived? Do you consider it lost life? If you don't then you should rethink your position on where a zygote is a baby.

The Iraqi's have been through hell since 1990 when some girl went on national TV and made up lies about the Iraqi Army and made it look like they were doing horrible crimes against humanity which they were innocent of. This girl should be looked at as the cause of two wars the death of millions of people and the cause of sanctions in a nation that was once our ally. Abortion is over used in our society. It should not be used as birth control. There are other means for birth control. It should be used as a medical need only. If the mothers life at risk. If the mother was a rape victim. Or if the mother was a victim of incest.

We really don't care about the loss of innocent life in Iraq only that the money that is being wasted over there every day in effort to prove a president's manhood could be better spent feeding and caring for America's children

Listen to Senator Biden. No one wants Abortion to be something we need to do, but it's not up to you to make someone Else's choice. Every person must be able to make this choice. Not you or anyone else. And for the god fearing that person will have to answer for their choice. It has no effect on you.

Besides all you war supporters are supporting the killing of thousands of Iraqi civilians. So everyone can play the your a hypocrite game.

I have often wondered about the reverse. I know some pro life advocates are opposed to both , like the Pope, but many pro life people in the US seem to value only America lives

Its not abortion they support, it's a women's right to choose they support. The government needs to get out of peoples life's, it's none of their business.

Because they don't want people dying in defense of this country to be martyrsanymore than they want those guilty of mass murder or sex offenses to get the death penalty. They want innocent fetuses to die without a fair trial.
