Is the reason why McCain now leads Obama because he picked a female running mate?
to those who said it was because of the "bounce" from mccain's VP selection, i must further ask:
well, then, why didn't obama get a similar "bounce" from selecting biden?
was it because obama made a poor choice decision? if so, then maybe this proves that mccain has better judgment when it comes to making decisions.

He not only chose a female, but a well qualified female. She isn't one of the "good ole boys" from Washington. He has chose change over talking about it. Sarah Palin is qualified on her own merits, not her husbands. She will make a great VP, and even greater President one day.

it may well be be a issue, yet not inevitably because of the fact human beings are racist against blacks. He has already raised the spector that he himself is a racist. i does not have had a issue balloting for him as my 2nd selection if that hadn't come out. besides the undeniable fact that it did, or perhaps human beings sticking at the back of him have it interior the back of their minds. If he then chosen a vp who replaced into black... precise or not, it might seem to verify he's unquestionably a racist himself. So he might end any probability he might have had. besides, he shouldn't win the nomination.

Everyone expected him to bounce up after the convention for a few days, no matter who he chose. It's normal.

I think he's leading because of the bounce that they got from their convention. The democrats had a bounce too.

No, it helps slightly. But the biggest was getting someone to fire up the base.

I think so. But polls are so volatile. The only poll that matters ends on November 4th. I think Obama will be our next president.
