How long can I expect my Monroe piercing to be swollen?
I'm on day number two and it's not terrible but a bit uncomfortable to talk. How long, generally, does the swelling last? Thanks! =)

It could take a week for your swelling to go down. Just make sure you follow the piercer's advice on taking care of it, and the swelling should go away without a problem in just a few days. It sounds like it won't be much longer since you got it done two days ago.
To encourage the swelling to go down, take ibuprofen or Advil. They are both anti-inflamatories. The medicine and ice will both make the swelling disappear and make it more comfortable for you to talk. Just make sure you don't apply heat to your lip, only ice.

My friend had this piercing, it took her about 2days for the swelling to go down and after a week it wasn't sore, everyones different though.
