    Actually they will be conducting joint naval exercises in the Caribbean.

    Fortunately the US armed forces do not think the Russian navy is a joke. Here's a chilling (long) article on their capabilities in just one lethal area:

    Reminds me of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, using the best Russian equipment known to date, and it all sucked, no worries.
