    I do not think teens think that alcohol could leave them spattered all over the highway or freeway. They just don't get it.

    I do think the drinking and driving stats. are way down because it is Not Cool to drink and drive and is something else like smoking they can ***** their parents out for. So that has made a difference. Kids do not want to be like their parents

    What they don't get is that leaving a kegger or a party blasted gets you as injuried or dead as drinking and driving. DWI/ DUI laws are getting much harder on everyone. And it applies to drugs too.

    The hardest lessons are when it isn't you who dies, it is your best friend or your girl who was riding with you. You get a vehicular manslaughter charge and live with the knowlege you killed them by driving under the influence.

    No. If juvenile hall wasn't such a cakewalk, teens would quit doing crap to get themselves BACK in juvie.
