What's the deal with Sarah Palin?

Because it's better that we think she is dumb than to have her answer questions and remove all doubt.

The longer I stay online - the more I see Sarah Palin poorly painted. This is what people are saying. She is a hokey mom who knows little politics. She became mayor twice and governor for the state (22 months) and has no experience at all as a politician. She told her librarian to take a hike and she did. She fired her ex brother in-law. She had her children raised by using a snowman nanny while spending all her time in office doing nothing. She is trying to force feed people creationism and her views on abortions is hypocritical. She wants people to believe that she has nothing to say and everything to hide. She fabricated her story (the bridge to nowhere) 2 years ago since she saw in the future that she was to become the next vice president-elect.

What hogwash! Why don't people attribute more to her than good looks and being extremely lucky. She does have a brain. She does speak well. She handles herself with dignity in public. Though why there are contradictions to her story is beyond me. I don't like it knowing she is under investigations and not knowing all the facts. But please people do not say things that are unreal, untruthful, or "unsmart" - anything stupid or blatant put downs keep to yourself. This election is already complicated enough without the many innuendos thrown at all parties. Also, she is constantly around people talking to them - so when does she have the time to write a speech besides being governor for 22 months and being a mother? How come you never heard of speech writers for politicians during presidential elections? This is beyond me. Originally McCain party was to let her go on her own but changed their strategy after the 1st week of the acceptance speech. And yes, someone wrote her speech but it was mentioned that she used some of her own words to make it more personal. And yes she is from Alaska so that is where she's been most of the time. Thats why so little is known of her. And she is the real deal as a person but whether her beliefs have any merit tell an unknown part too.

I hate to rain on you but it is true. She was not allowed out on her own for the rest of the week after the RNC.

Her speech, gulp, was wrote by a speech writer.

Now for the big gulp.

Sen. Biden also was not released to go out on his own after the DNC for the rest of that week.

Senators Biden and Obama also have their speeches wrote for them. IN FACT, every single major politician has their speeches wrote for them. The president hardly ever gives a speech on his own, no matter who the president is.

Look at this fact though, almost all politiicians use the new see through screens to read the script of their speech, I never saw that with Gov. Palin, she seemed to be going off of a wrote out version, which is much harder to do.

Major political figures go over what they wish to cover and the 'magicians' come up with the speeches.

As of yesterday, Monday Sep 8, Gov. Palin is out on the trail alone campaigning away from Sen. McCain.

She's been right alongside McCain, campaigning, and making a huge turnaround in the polls, 54% to 44% among likely voters.

And she is persuading women voters to vote for the Republicans in a huge way!

She will "do her own thing" when it is time! There's plenty of time, especially while the Main Stream Media and Democrats keep spreading lies and rumors about her, then take their time cleainig up their messes.

And speechwriters write most of the "big" speeches, so I hope you are not too surprised.

She's been carefully shielded from the "liberal media" (funny how those attacks on the media came right when they needed an excuse for her not to be interviewed). But, I think she will have an interview this coming Thursday. Which is Sept. 11, and the day her son will be deployed. So, I'm thinking that will influence the questioning a bit.

As for her speech, I believe it was written by Bush's speech writer (I can't remember the source for this, sorry. If I'm wrong and someone has a reliable source, please share).

But honestly, she is a desperate ploy by the Republicans to steal the votes of those that wanted Clinton on the Democrat's ticket. It is both ingenious and stupid. Only the election result will tell. I am looking forward to seeing her in a debate with Biden. To see how well she does without a script. She does a good speech....Obama is still the master orator.

Will be very exciting compared to our drab leaders here in Canada. I think that when I go to vote in October that I will shout out loud from the voting booth, "Where's Barack Obama's name on the list?", just to see what kind of reaction I get. Canada needs a Barack.

The Deal with GOv. Palin is that she is going to be the next Vice President and she is what all of us with families and kids want in the White House along with with our Warrior McCain. Get used to it.
