can a non resident of indiana get a CCW?

Indiana only gives out License to Carry a Handgun (LTCH) to residents. Indiana does however recognize all others license, permits whatever your state, or county (Yes, Country) calls it. Indiana's LTCH isn't recognized by as many states as say Florida or Utah, but there are other states that do recognize Indiana's LTCH.

Yes, Most states do allow CCW, Indiana is an Open Cary state, you can carry concealed, it does not matter, If you live in Illinois, (I think you do!!) and work in Indiana, you can get one, but you cannot carry in Illinois. Especially in Chicago where there is a 0 tolerance for guns, you can go to jail with a felony. A lot of states honor each other's licenses, but you have to be a resident of the Licensing State.

Long Guns are a different story.

The only state (I think) that allows non-residents to get a ccw is Florida. I have a range in my area that give the training course and an application and sends it all in for you. Flordia has a ccw that is recognized in more states than any other permit. At least last time I checked. Your best bet is to search on yahoo or google a county web page and look for a permit link.

no longer california. Too many Liberals right here. we are in for a complicated combat to get the right carry enables right here. this could nicely be a state the place the criminals have extra rights than the fundamental citazen. Pray for us.
