Netflix Player by Roku - TV and Internet connection in different rooms?

I'm interested in the Netflix Player by Roku, but our Internet connection and tv are in different rooms. Can I use a wireless router to make it work? I don't know jack about this stuff.

    The roku box needs to be next to the TV.

    yes, it has wireless w-fi, so if you have a wireless router (g or n ) it should work just fine.
