How did Pearl Jam get their name?
OK so I've heard a lot of opinions on how they actualy got their name but I figured I would ask the world and see what ya'll say. 10 points to the best answer!

They got the name from a supposed recipe that Eddie's grandma (Pearl) had for a "trippy" kind of jelly.
Or so it says in their "Halleucinagenic Recipes" boxed set.

the second guy got it. Might i add that my birth stone is a pearl and my initials are J.A.M. pretty cool eh? yes its taken me far in life :P

not true at all - think about what has a jam-like consistency with the color of pearl...
I will give you a hint - you can make a "pearl necklace" from it
hehe
