Is it really annoying to anyone else when kids post...?

By 'answers' rules, it's perfectly legal to ask for homework help, no matter how much. It isn't legal to be here under 13, tho.

Personally, I think it's fine if someone is asking for an explanation of how to do something, or for someone to check answers. I have a problem with the kids who post their whole assignment and say 'need this in 2 hours and show your work', but they're not violating any rules HERE. Under 'answers' rules, all we can do is report the illegal stuff and ignore the rest. If we answer their question with criticism or a chewing-out, we're committing a violation.

That's why I mostly just stay out of that section.

I agree, but I rarley do it when I am completley clueless of what it is. I don't ask for an exact answer though, I ask for help.
