Help please. I'm a teenager, and my family just got a new dog. We already have 2 small dogs (yorkies) that we've had since they were puppies. This is an adult rescue (6 years old, German shepherd). My problem is that this new dog makes me SO uncomfortable. I've always been a little afraid of big dogs anyways. I am really struggling because I did not want another dog, but my little brother begged until my parents caved.

She is very neurotic and freaks my other dogs out. She also follows me around everywhere and cries whenever anyone walks out of the room. I'm trying to be patient, but she just makes me really uncomfortable. Whenever I walk into the room she bull rushes me and tries to jump on me and I hate it. I know people are just going to say I need to give her time to adjust and whatever, but we've had her a few weeks now and I really don't think I'm ever going to get close to this dog. I can't talk to my parents about it because I don't want to seem whiny/childish. I try to just not hang out around her but she is so clingy. How should I deal with this? I know it may seem like a silly problem, but I'm really struggling with it.

Any serious advice would be greatly appreciated. Please don't tell me to grow up or just deal with it because my fear of large dogs is legitimate as my neighbor's very aggressive boxer got out of her yard when I was younger and tried to bite me.

Has anyone ever tried using any of the mousse hair dye products from the grocery store? The only two I know of right now are the Fat Foam and L'Oreal Sublime Mousse kits. Has anyone tried either of these, and if so, how well do they work? I dye my hair myself and it can be tricky (and messy) trying to do it alone so I was thinking this may be a good option for me given that you don't have to go through the the separating process. You just put it on like shampoo, and it works?

My mom and I (unsuccessfully) tried to dye my light brown hair blonde a few weeks ago. It came out copper colored so we tried to dye it back to the natural color. That did nothing so we dyed it dark brown but now my hair is a really unattractive dull brown color and my roots are BLACK. I don't really have the money to go to a salon to get it fixed. Is there ANYTHING I can do to salvage my hair? It looks pretty unsightly right now and short of bleaching it I'll try pretty much anything.

I'd like it to be uniform on my whole head -- meaning no terrible roots. I don't care if it turns out light brown, dark brown, even reddish brown. Anything that what it is now would be better.

Suggestions? I'm going on a beach trip with some friends in a few days and I don't want to look absolutely ridiculous!

Please don't give sarcastic answers, I really just want to know what they're called!

It's two weeks late now. There is no way I could be pregnant I haven't had sex in about 6 months.

I have severe anxiety about sleeping. I think about sleeping all day and worry that I won't be able to sleep so when it comes time for bed time I nearly have a panic attack when I get in bed. Then I don't sleep. I've used Ambien and Lunesta and neither work on me. I go for days without sleeping and it's so miserable. When I finally do miraculously fall asleep it's only for a few hours. I know Xanax is addictive, but can it relax me enough to help me fall asleep at night? What does it feel like after you take it?

For the past month or so I haven't been sleeping hardly at all. I've been put on Ambien which worked the first night but not at all after that night. Most recently my doctor put me on Lunesta and i've been taking 3 mg dose. Sometimes even that doesn't put me to sleep and when it does I wake up after only sleeping 2-3 hours. I'm so miserable during the day and keep getting sick because my immune system is weak from not sleeping. I'm always exhausted to the point that I could sleep but I get panicky when I get in bed because I know I won't be able to fall asleep. I work in a daycare so work is really hard because I have to hold it together for the kids but I'm so beat I barely make it through the day. I've tried everything from meditation to warm baths to even medication and I still can't sleep. Any ideas?

Its a rock song, not old rock but not brand new either possibly from late 90s to early 2000s.

There is a discrepancy I have encountered many times this year when talking about the elections. Do absentee ballots count? My friends think they only count if there is a tie, however I still believe every vote is counted. If someone knows the real answer and has a link guiding me to it, please supply. Thanks!
