    im not sure if you mean what does her numonic device means or what

    K, H, D, B, D, C, M stands for but if it is for what K H D B D C M really stands for, it is...

    K [kilo] (1000)

    H [hecto] (100)

    D [deka] (10)

    B [base] (1)

    D [deci] (0.1)

    C [centi] (0.01)

    M [milli] (0.001)

    then base can equal...meters [length], grams [mass], Liter [volume]

    I know a lot about metric prefixes/conversions so hopefully this helps and answers your question but if it doesn't..i can explain more.
