Metric Conversions help!?

my teacher showed us this thing today like this:

she said something like kiss him dumby but don't catch mono? Does anyone know what this means? Can you explain?

    im not sure if you mean what does her numonic device means or what

    K, H, D, B, D, C, M stands for but if it is for what K H D B D C M really stands for, it is...

    K [kilo] (1000)

    H [hecto] (100)

    D [deka] (10)

    B [base] (1)

    D [deci] (0.1)

    C [centi] (0.01)

    M [milli] (0.001)

    then base can equal...meters [length], grams [mass], Liter [volume]

    I know a lot about metric prefixes/conversions so hopefully this helps and answers your question but if it doesn't..i can explain more.
