It has nothing to do with how long after sex.
It depends on your menstrual cycle.
You should be able to get a positive pregnancy test starting with the first day of your missed period.

You have to wait a day or two AFTER your missed period. Or get a blood test their very accurate

Usually after your missed period.
If you use something like First Response it will detect it 5 days before your missed period.

approximately 2 weeks. maybe a weeek after your missed peeiod is the most active but it may show sooner than that.
