Why is animal cruelty wrong?

because they have feelings like everyone else.

Why would you even ask such a idiotic question? How can anyone ever think, that Animal Cruelty is right? Everyone in their right mind, and who has any kind of a brain, knows that it's wrong to abuse any animal, or human, for any reason! As far as animals go, they are defenseless in the hands of an abuser! Abusing an animal or person does not solve a thing! Animals are the innocent ones, they offer unconditional love, they relieve stress, they are trusting to their owners, they are very loyal, they are very committed to their owners, they are very protective of their owners, and they are the best companions you could ever possibly imagine having in your lifetime. You could never ask or hope for a better, Best Friend! Abusing an animal, is Inhumane, Barbaric, Evil, Selfish, Cold Hearted, Uncalled for, Unnecessary, Sadistic, I could go on an on about why Animal Abuse (Cruelty) is just plain and simple, WRONG! They don't deserve abuse, no matter what it is you think they have done wrong. (It is also Against The Law, to abuse any animal, for any reason)! There is Never any excuse to abuse an animal. They count on you, to love them, and take care of them, and they ask nothing but LOVE and RESPECT in return. Is giving them Love and Caring for them, too much for them to ask? I don't think so, and if you do, then please, don't ever own any kind of animal! They deserve to be treated with so much respect, after all the joy they add to our lives!!! I can't even begin to imagine, what life would be like, if there weren't animals in it!!! What an empty feeling and thought that is!!!

for the same reason child abuse is. do you think its ok when an animal gets thrown out of a moving vehicle and left for dead or left in a crate and starved or used as bait in a dog fight, they are small living creatures and they feel pain and suffering maybe not the same as you and me but they do feel it and it wouldnt be right if we just let people cause these animals any pain and suffering.

any kind of cruelty is wrong ,why torment a helpless creature?

When you do something wrong to an animal like hurt it or starve it, etc. it's in discomfort. We as humans can't treat animals like that. Also religion teaches it's wrong too.

If you even have to ask,there is something really wrong with you! Cruelty of any kind is wrong! Sheesh!

it is wrong in so many ways. animals deserve to be treated with care and love. if you are abussing your animal you should give it up and not get another.

For the same reason child abuse, domestic violence is wrong! Have you ever suffered? It hurts!

what they do to animals is so teerrable imagine that happen to a baby or something. it is exactly the same thing it is mean it hurt them.
