YA coffee breaks and time-outs. Are they for real?

Sorry but an asker cannot choose "no best answer" like voters though that may be why so many questions are left to go into voting. If I'm not satisfied with the answers, I use the little envelope icon under the question to email the question to friends in the hopes that they will answer.

Or you can extend the time for answering using the pencil icon under the question in the toolbar and hope more people answer.

You can also withdraw the question from consideration. You don't get your 5 points back but you're then free to ask again. Again, use the little pencil icon under the question in the toolbar.

Yes, I agree, it use to happen occasionally, now it seems almost constant, Perhaps if Google does take over Yahoo they will fix the problem.

They seem to have plenty of them. I was really bad yesterday and took ages to post Q&A. Now there's some services thing attached to the top of this and you have to keep scrolling down the page.

It simply means that they are tweaking the code, trying to get things fixed. Just use a combination of the BACK button and F5 (Refresh) to work around it. Usually works for me.
