I did this last week, forgot that my power lead was connected and caused a pretty nasty spark on my amp terminal

A little red light came on, on my amp.. and it would no longer work

I was worried id blown it up before I'd even used it on the move

Luckily, I just disconnected the lot... reconnected it all... and it worked again :)

No idea what happened... my theory is it short circuited and grounded itself until the power was removed (therefore reseting it, just like when you disconnect your car battery and lose all your bass / treble settings on your head unit)
