Yes, it seems so. He's grasping at straws now, like personal attacks on Sarah's family, and making up stories that she wants to go to war with Russia! For pitties sake! I wonder if he cries at night in bed, and drives Michele up the wall so much, she has to sleep with Biden!

Momentum is hard to gain at this point. What other big changes or announcements are there going to be seven weeks out from the election? At this point, Obama needs a major scandal or an excellent showing at the debate. His campaign's talking points and attacks against McCain and Palin obviously aren't working. He needs some kind of grand national showing that will re-invigorate Democrats and bring them back into the party.
Polls don't mean anything this far away, but momentum does. Momentum is everything, and McCain has it. Obama needs to steal it back in order to win.

No, the polls do not favor Barack Obama right now.
HOWEVER, the number of newly registered voters does.
It kind of makes you think;
