People like George Soros, Al Gore, and Barack Obama don't believe in the goodness of the United States. They firmly believe the world would be better off if the U.S. could not exercise so much power and influence. Hence, their goal is to weaken the U.S. enough so that we cannot be such an international powerhouse anymore, and the best way to accomplish that is to hobble our economy.

Just look at the proposed treaties for global warming. They don't actually prevent the conditions they claim cause it, they simply transfer the ability to manufacture to "third world" nations that are exempt from the treaty. This is exactly the case with the idiotic Kyoto Protocol.

I am only going to answer the global warming part- it is a scientific fact. It would be happening (a lot slower) even if we weren't around. The world heats and cools over thousands of years.
