What are your favourite Nightwish albums, in order?

1º. ONCE: Wish I had an Angel, The Siren, Nemo, Planet Hell... this is my favourite album, i think is the best one.

2º WISHMASTER:She is my sin, Wishmaster, Fantasmic and Wanderlust.

3º CENTURY CHILD: End of all hope, The phantom of the Opera,Ocean Soul and Ever Dream.

4º DARK PASSION PLAY: Amaranth, The Poet and the Pendulum, 7 days to the wolves and Escapist.

5º OCEANBORN: Walking in the air, Gethsemane, Sleeping Sun and Passion and the Opera

6º ANGELS FALL FIRST: Angels Fall First,The Carpenter, Beauty and the Beast and Astral Romance

7º OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY: Over the Hills and Far Away , Astral Romance (Remake).

I really like the voice of Annette but Tarja is just like drug to me... she has the most beautifull voice ever.

Nightwish is our favourite band.

and people that bash Anette are just ignorant. I cna understand if someone doesn't care for her style..but she is a fine singer, and did nothing wrong. I love Tarja's stuff..but Nightwish is now with Anette..and as before..the Music is 99% from Tuomas.

I just saw them live about 8 days ago.... GREAT show. They had all the energy you see in the videos..but they did it for a 500 person club. Any band that is as into the show for 500 as for 50,000 is tops in my book. Anette was wonderful..they played everything off DPP but Eva and Last of the Wild, and 4-5 of Tarjas songs.

Aside form the high notes on the Siren..Anette did them all. Yeah..she didn't sing them the same as Tarja..but she made them hers, and it was great. Angels Fall First was a homerun, as were the others I forget.

Anyhow..I also got Jukka to autograph one of his drumsticks..so I had a great evening..even if I had to drive 3 hours home after!

Aw, making me think .... man ... that's what school is for! Haha. I'm terrible with words though, so I can't really describe everything like how I want to ...

1. Once

- Why? I dunno. Lol, I just adore this album. The music and vocals are just phenomenal. Favorites include "Nemo", "Planet Hell", "The Siren", "Dead Gardens", "Ghost Love Score", and "White Night Fantasy", although I really like every song.

2. Dark Passion Play

- Yay for Anette! Yay for the band for choosing Anette! Yay for Tuomas for making some kickasss music! Yay for Marco for "The Islander"! Yay for Jukka's bandana! Yay for Emppu for being vertically challenged!

- "The Poet and The Pendulum" is epic. Nuff said. Another favorite is "The Islander", it's just so .... delicious. I like most of the songs on here. "Sahara", "The Escapist", and "Meadows of Heaven" are not favorites though for me .... :P And I actively dislike "Master Passion Greed".

3. Century Child

- BUM ... BUM ... BUM *Ohhh wake up! Mow the weed! You'd be nothing, without me!" Need I say more?

- "Bless the Child", "End of All Hope", "Ever Dream", and "Slaying the Dreamer" are my top favorites. Again, that doesn't mean I don't like any others! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the live cover of "The Phantom of the Opera"!!!

4. Wishmaster

- "Hamster! A dentist!" I love that song. Anyway, favorites include "Wishmaster" (naturally), "Deep Silent Complete", "Wanderlust", and "Come Cover Me".

5. Angels Fall First

- This album sounds way way different than the others, but I love it just the same. I adore the lyrics in "Angels Fall First". Favorites include that plus "Elvenpath", "Astral Romance", and "The Carpenter".

6. Oceanborn

- This is so difficult. And it really depends on my mood and when you catch me, because if you had asked me a few weeks ago I would have said my 2nd favorite album was AFF.

- "Gethsemane", "Moondance", and "Sleeping Sun". I like Tarja's cover of "Walking In The Air" better than when she did it with Nightwish.

7. Nightwish demo

- Which you didn't mention, lol, but probably because you like it least. I actually like these songs - "Nightwish", "The Forever Moments", and "Etiäinen" - more than I do the ones on Over the Hills and Far Away!

8. Over the Hills and Far Away

- I only really like the song with the same name.

Honorable mentions - "Kiteen Pallo" and "While Your Lips Are Still Red", of course.
