Am I the only one who is relieved that Russia sent bombers to Venezuela?

US military says they are vintage cold war era and won't do much offensively but maybe they are good for drug drops which is what the US Administration is accusing the Venezuelans of doing these days.

Like the US which gives Israel its "out of date" cluster bombs which were then tossed ( 1,000,000) onto the Lebanese landscape during the last little invasion of that country by Israel ( some hot pursuit that was), Russia gives its old stuff away also. Power politics.

Yeah, after what happened to the last head of state in Latin American who did not expel the American ambassador when he started playing footsie with the opposition ( 9/11/73 chile), folks like Evo Morales and Hugo Chavez,well, they get a little jumpy!!

Uh ... Russia should be dropping bombs on Caracas. Then they would really be strange wouldn't they?
