    Let UNITs guide you; always USE THEM in your calculation to prevent errors

    KMnO4 mole fraction = # moles of KMnO4 / (# moles of KMnO4 + # moles of water)

    # moles of KMnO4 in 100g (any number of g will do as long as it is used for both calculations) = 0.07175 * 100 g soln / MW of KMnO4 in g/mole = ??

    # moles of H2O in 100g = (100-0.07175) * 100 g soln / MW H2O in g/mole = ??
