I did this research in here on social response to pigment?

And all of my answerers thought I had only asked 3 different questions or one question with 3 avatars, etc. People: I asked SEVERAL different questions, 3 times each under each avatar identity and got very alarmingly pidgeonholed responses. I have conducted this research over 2006 and 2008 when I first heard I would have to come up with this data for a thesis if I took a particular course. What I am wondering is if anyone finds it offensive that they were all test subjects or if they are surprised at my results or any comments? Would you be surprised to discover I look nothing like my avatar at all?

    interesting.

so you affirmed what most people already know: no one is who they would seem to be--especially when internet illusory images and anonymity is involved.

i would be offended if you had a grant to do this--where's my compensation for participation? otherwise, you're only indulging a your curiosities--just like everyone else on this board.

i don't think i'm interested with how you actually look--i pay more attention to the nickname than the picture; avatars play to people's vanities, nicknames are a glimpse into someone's personality.
