Found this... 19 FA Cup goals scored by Preston North End's Jimmy Ross in a single season (1887-88), a competition record. Preston's 26-0 win against Hyde in the first round - a game in which Ross scored eight times - is also the biggest ever FA Cup victory.

ted mcdougall- 10 in the 1971-1972 cup. He scored 9 in one fa cup match.
