All in all, the short story, “Charles” by Shirley Jackson was very well-written. By explaining Laurie’s words, looks and clothing, and overall behavior, Jackson helped the reader further understand Laurie’s character and personality.

dont use overused words like "very" and "well" .
and add something to the end of the paragraph....... i dont know why, but it sounds like its missing somethin.......
other than that it sounds really good!
