Please help. I need a tight end. Who would you pick up?

I am a Brady-drafter who just traded Kellen Winslow to get Philip Rivers. I'm fine with that, but the move leaves me with Todd Heap as my only TE, and he is a heap of questions. He caught one pass for 5 yards last week, and fumbled it. His back is flaring up, he's listed as probable, and while he'll start, he likely won't be a big factor this week, and maybe not beyond. So-

Should I stick with Heap, dump him for a free agent, or keep Heap but dump one of my bench RBs for a safety-valve, second TE?

My RBs are Brandon Jacobs and Willie Parker, with Justin Fargas, Chris Johnson, and Jonathan Stewart on the bench.

The following TEs are available on the wire: Bo Scaife, Robert Royal, Randy McMichael, Desmond Clark, Greg Olsen, Kevin Boss, Mercedes Lewis, and Ben Utecht, amongst other dregs.

Thanks for your input.

Update:

Fasano and Rosario are not available.

Jenni: What the hell are you talking about?

Update 2:

By the way, Greg Olsen went to my high school (much later than me), and his father was football coach when I went there, and taught (?) me gym class. Is this enough to just say "what the heck" and pick up Olsen?

I agree that if you can get Rosario from Carolina he might be the way to go. He is available in most leagues still. If not and you need to trade you have good RB's that can bring you a good TE. Jacobs, Parker, and Johnson all could be starters each week. Stewart looks to be a real good fill-in for bye weeks, so if someone will take Fargas for a TE look there first. If not I would look to move Stewart but only for a good TE. Good Luck.

dump heap because chances are good no one else will pick him up and take Greg olsen, he's the only passing option for the bears. He should have a hugh year, no Fasano huh, he was avaiolbale in a lot of leagues even late this week. Anyway go with Olsen

I would drop heap, he isnt what he used to be. Out of the ones you mentioned I'd get Boss or Olsen. I am a panther fan but from week 1 stats if you could get dante rosario get him ..... GO BOSS OUT OF THE TWO

i does not say miller is consistent each and every week he purely performs as nicely as russell will enable. yet i could take him he has the huge sport skill and is a sturdy participant, only remeber you're kinda taking a threat via grabbing him as he's on a terrible off. the 2d selection could be finely, he performed nicely this week something like 7 factors and had a sturdy sport the week formerly he could be there visit TE and could benifite greater down the line with a greater useful helping solid.
