Why is Yahoo censoring my direct Obama questions?

Yahoo for some reason has decided to remove my direct Obama questions... why is this? There were legitimate questions. I find often on Yahoo, there is media bia for Obama and this type of censorship is a joke. Anyone have any clue about this?

Yahoo is not censoring anything. If you questions are being removed, it is other users reporting you under the community moderation system. If they are within the guidelines, appeal the violations. There are a few excessive reporting types in that category. The biggest problem with Obama (and McCain) questions that are removed is not the subject matter, but the format and context of the questions, which violate the YA rules. Many turn into rants, others are plain insulting, and others are just chatting. They could be about Santa Claus and would still be violations.

If you would give us the exact context of some, we could better help you. If any are more than two sentences long, most people will feel they are rants.

Actually, Yahoo is censoring nothing. However, we can thank them for the brilliant idea of community moderation (hope you notice the sarcasm.)

The answer is quite simple. Your question, if pro-Obama, likely pissed off McCain supporters. If it was anti-Obama, it probably pissed off Obama supporters. That's all it really takes to provoke somebody to report you. The sad thing is, when they report you, Y!A doesn't even review it before they remove it.

People are very sensitive to politics. Just be careful.
