How is hurricane Ike effecting your area?

    Right now, Ike is dumping a lot of rain where I am, which is in Illinois. Already, there has been too much, and Ike is adding insult to injury. I am going to be very happy when this troubling period is all said and done.

    I really miss seeing the sun, and I hope it (literally) brightens my day later.

    I'm in the Philippines, and it will be impossible for Ike to devastate my area.

    Hope everyone in Texas and other places devastated by Ike are in good condition now.

    I live in Madison, Wisconsin, and we have had some major flooding in our area this weekend. There are about 40,000 people in southern Wisconsin that are eligible for disaster assistance right now.

    Most parts of the world aren't being effected at all. My area's part of that overwhelming majority.
