Fringe's Massive Dynamics is real?

Fringe's first episode "Pilot" featured Massive Dynamics and Nina Sharp a lot. Is Massive Dynamics a fiction or it really exists? I googled it and there is this massive dynamics website (www.massivedynamic.com) looks like it does exist, so does Nina Sharp! But can't really find much info. The website has a little bit info on the company history, and the fields they do research on.

    Oh for the love of God ... it's part of marketing the new FOX show "Fringe". No, there's no bloody real company named Massive Dynamics. The exterior shot on the show is the Royal Ontario Museum.

    I have never heard of such a company in real life so I suspect the website you found was created by the show's creators as part of their marketing.
